For business travelers

Stop landing in cities full of contacts you never see.

If your week is built around airports, hotels, and meeting rooms, apreet shows you which of your contacts will be in the same city, before you fly, so you can plan in person, not by accident.

The pain of living on the road

If you travel for work every few weeks, the same cities come back around: the same client city, the same regional hub, the same conference circuit. Somewhere in that rotation are dozens of people you already know, colleagues who moved, old clients, former teammates, but keeping track of who is where, trip after trip, is not something anyone does by hand. So you do not. You land, you work, you go home, and the people you could have seen stay strangers to your calendar.

It adds up. A road-warrior year is fifteen, twenty, thirty trips, each one a missed chance to turn a business trip into a real relationship. Multiply one missed connection by every trip you take, and the cost is not one missed evening. It is a whole travel life spent passing people by.

What apreet does about it

apreet builds an itinerary from the events on your calendar (we use the date and the location field, never the notes), and overlays it against the people in your address book. When friends use apreet too, both itineraries are matched. You see, in advance, which of your contacts will be in your destination, when, and where their paths cross yours.

You stop relying on coincidence. You plan in person.

Use cases

Built for the travel weeks you already have

Working out of town

Get your mind off the project: meet an old friend or acquaintance for an evening of quality time. Better than another room-service salad.

A meeting just got cancelled

Suddenly you have two free hours in a city full of people you know. apreet tells you who else is there and free.

Tired of room service

Find a friend in town for dinner, fast. Send a quick message and have somewhere to be tonight.

Inviting a small group

Want to meet more than one person at the same time? Pick the recipients, send one message, done.

Long layover

Who else will be at the airport? Maybe a coffee, catch up, or a shared cab into town.

Conference week

You know your contacts will be there too. apreet tells you exactly when and helps you actually meet them, not just wave across a room.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions for business travelers

I travel constantly. Will apreet just add more noise?

No. apreet only surfaces people you already know, matched against the trips already on your calendar. There is no feed to check and no daily digest to maintain, since the core workflow is triggered by your next trip.

Does apreet work if I keep visiting the same cities?

Yes, and that is where it helps most. Every time a trip comes up, apreet checks your address book again, so a contact who moved to that city since your last visit shows up on this trip even if they were not there on your first.

I am not actively networking, I just travel for work. Is apreet still for me?

Yes. apreet is not a networking tool in the outreach sense. It does not ask you to build new contacts or work a room. It only ever shows you people already in your address book, so it fits travel that is about the job, not about meeting people.
