Company-wide travel overlap
Today each person sees their own overlaps one at a time. A single view across a whole department or company, so a team lead can see where colleagues will cross paths, is on the roadmap and not available yet.
For organizations
apreet today is a consumer beta for iOS and Android: each person sees, in their own app, when their travel crosses the path of someone they already know. The company-wide capabilities below, a single rollout, calendar integration, and admin controls, are on the roadmap and not available yet. This page is honest about both.
Quick answer. apreet is a consumer beta today, installed one person at a time, that surfaces who you can meet when your travel overlaps with people you already know. Company-wide rollout, integration with Office 365 and Google Workspace, and an SDK for internal apps are planned and not shipping yet. The mechanism is simple: apreet overlays your calendar with your contacts, and you can read how apreet works for the step-by-step version.
People at a large organization are constantly on the move, for customer visits, conferences, time at headquarters, and offsites. They rarely know when a colleague or a known contact is in the same city on the same days. apreet closes that gap for the individual: it reads the date and location of each calendar event, places the people in the address book next to each destination, and shows the overlap when both people use apreet. The result is in-person time that would otherwise have been missed.
None of this requires a company deployment today. Any employee can install the beta and benefit on their own, with no admin involvement and no shared account.
The features that make apreet a company-wide tool, rather than a personal one, are planned and not live. We are designing them so that employee consent and the existing privacy choices stay at the center, never bolted on afterwards. The cards below mark clearly what exists today and what is still ahead.
Today and ahead
Today each person sees their own overlaps one at a time. A single view across a whole department or company, so a team lead can see where colleagues will cross paths, is on the roadmap and not available yet.
apreet reads the device calendar today. Organization-level integration with Office 365 and Google Workspace, including managed accounts and directory sync, is planned and not shipping yet.
apreet reads only the date and location field, never your notes, and shows an overlap only when both people opt in and already know each other. This holds today, and every planned enterprise feature will keep explicit employee consent at its core.
A single managed deployment, with an admin console for provisioning and offboarding across the workforce, is planned. Today apreet installs per person from the app stores, with no admin tooling yet.
apreet works only across mutual contacts, with no live location broadcast and no public map, which keeps the data surface small today. Formal security reviews and compliance documentation for organizations are something we are exploring as the enterprise roadmap matures.
An SDK that lets your own internal tools surface apreet overlaps, for example inside a travel or events app, is on the roadmap. It does not exist today, and we are exploring the right interface for it.
