Quick version. The Agent Gateway is built on the same open standard, MCP (Model Context Protocol), that Claude and ChatGPT already support as a self-service "custom connector". Whether an assistant works with apreet depends mostly on whether that assistant's own maker has turned on self-service remote connectors, not on apreet building something from scratch per assistant, though each one still gets confirmed end to end before it is listed below.
Claude
Both free and paid Claude accounts can connect today (checked 2026-07-30). The one limit: a free account is capped at one custom connector, so you may need to remove an existing one first. Adding a connector needs Claude on the web or Claude Desktop, not the mobile app. Once added, it becomes usable on Claude's iOS and Android apps too, the next time you sign in there.
ChatGPT
Requires a paid plan (checked 2026-07-30). On an individual Plus or Pro plan, turning on OpenAI's "Developer Mode" setting yourself is enough. It sits under Settings rather than being on by default. On a Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspace, your organization's own admin has to enable and add the connector first. You cannot self-service into it alone there, the same way Team and Enterprise plans work on Claude. ChatGPT does not support adding or using a custom connector on mobile at all today, on any plan. Web or desktop only.
Google Gemini
The official consumer Gemini app has no visible way to add a custom remote connector today (checked 2026-07-30): only Google's own built-in extensions, such as Workspace, YouTube, and Maps. Google's own documentation separately describes a narrow, still-rolling-out "Connected Apps" capability in Gemini Spark for some personal accounts, which we could not confirm works the way Claude's and ChatGPT's connectors do, or that it would work with apreet's own connector specifically. If you want Gemini with apreet regardless, the paths that do support a remote connector are Gemini CLI, Google's own Antigravity coding environment, or an MCP-capable IDE such as Cursor or VS Code configured to use Gemini. apreet has not tested any of these against its own connector yet.
Microsoft Copilot
No self-service path exists, as of the last time we checked (2026-07-30). Consumer Copilot has no way for you to add a custom connector yourself. The enterprise version can reach an MCP server, but only after your organization's own IT admin publishes and approves it, a different and higher-friction process than adding a connector to your own account.
Why this list is short
apreet's Agent Gateway does not need new work merely to speak to another assistant. It already speaks MCP, the standard both Claude and ChatGPT use for their own custom connectors, over the same OAuth flow both already go through. What changes this list is mostly on the assistant's side: whether that provider has turned on self-service remote connectors for accounts like yours. When one does, apreet is already positioned to work with it, though we would still confirm it end to end before adding it above.
If you are connecting a work account
apreet does not distinguish a personal AI account from a work one; connecting is connecting. But you should. If you connect through a Business, Enterprise, Edu, or Workspace account rather than your own, that account belongs to your employer or school, not you. Enterprise plans typically exclude your data from model training. The organization that owns the account can usually still see what you asked and what came back. Decide whether you are comfortable with that before you route your own contacts and trip plans through an account someone else administers.
